Board Members

Eric Nelson brings more than 25 years of law enforcement experience and a long history of association leadership. Prior to joining the Mountain View Police Department, he served on the Merced County Deputy Sheriff's Association Board of Directors for eight years, including four years as a board member at large and four years as vice president.

In 2017, Eric was appointed vice president of the Mountain View Police Officers' Association and served in that role until 2019, when he was appointed president, a role Eric currently still serves in.

Jill was elected to the POA as a board member at-large in 2012. In 2016, Jill was elected to the executive board as sergeant-at-arms and has been serving in that position ever since. Jill's 20-year anniversary with Mountain View PD will be in September 2026. Prior to that, Jill worked for nearly 12 years with the San Diego County Sheriff's Department.

Ray joined the Mountain View Police Department in 2017 while concurrently serving in the California Army National Guard, completing a distinguished twelve-year military career (2010–2022) and achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant. Bringing a powerful combination of military leadership and dedicated law enforcement experience to the department, Ray serves as a proud police officer protecting and serving the Mountain View community.

In addition to serving his peers as a board member at large for the Mountain View Police Officers' Association, Ray remains highly active within the department. Ray previously served as a crime suppression unit detective and is currently serving as a SWAT operator, field training officer (FTO), driver's training instructor, and a member of the crime scene investigation, unmanned aerial systems, and digital forensics teams.

Outside of uniform, Ray is a proud father of four and remains deeply involved in the community, spending his free time coaching youth sports, leading a Cub Scout den, and enjoying time with his family.

Officer Gregory J. Lenni Jr. began his career in 2006 with the Pomona Police Department in Los Angeles County. While at PPD, he worked patrol and was a Traffic Officer and a SWAT Operator. Ofc. Lenni lateraled to the Mountain View Police Department in February 2011. While here at MVPD, Ofc. Lenni has worked as a Traffic Officer, CNT Negotiator, Peer Support Team, Bicycle Team, Drone Operator, EVOC Instructor, and Motor Instructor, Regional Auto Theft Detective, and the Crime Suppression Unit. Ofc. Lenni has served on the MVPD POA Board as Vice President, and he is currently a POA General Board Member.

Sergeant Michael Wyckoff has been with the Mountain View Police Department since May 2020. Prior to that, he was a corporal in the Patrol Division for the UC Berkeley Police Department for 15 years. During his career, Michael has primarily worked in a field operations capacity, which included assignments such as field training officer, firearms instructor, special response unit (mass protest/arrest), standardized field sobriety test instructor, and motorcycle patrol.

As of May 2026, Michael has been assigned to MVPD's Personnel & Training Unit within the Special Operations Division. He has been a member at large on the MVPOA since early 2024.

Mikhail has 16 years of law enforcement experience and is a new POA board member-at-large as of 2026.

Guillermo started his law enforcement career with the City of Hayward in 2013. Guillermo lateraled to the Mountain View Police Department in August of 2020. During his time with the Mountain View Police Department, he has held several assignments, including school resource officer and Crimes Against Persons detective.

Guillermo also serves on the range team as an instructor and armorer. He is also a member of the Gang Suppression Team, Threat Assessment, and FTO. He has been a POA board member at large since April 2026.
